Welcome back to the Proje’ blog! If you’re a regular reader, you’ll know we talk about hybrid products a lot. But you might not know exactly what we mean by that. So, let me explain for a second...

When we talk about hybrids, what we mean is that a product performs two functions at once, so you get two benefits of using it – and, of course, the money-saving bonus that is associated with that. So, when we say hybrid, we mean multi-function or multi-use. For example, our Ceramic Soap washes and protects, or our Alpha Trim Gel colors and provides a barrier.

But perhaps the most bona fide hybrid product we sell is Metal Polish. And it isn’t because it performs two functions – it doesn’t, it polishes metal; that’s it! – but because you can use it on any metal. Here, the hybrid, or the multi-purpose factor is that you can take it into your house and shine your taps, your bathrooms, your kitchen surfaces. Whatever it is, if it’s a metal, Metal Polish will transform it! Wherever you are, and whatever you want to get that shine out of, a few sprays and a quick rub is all you need. It’s not only one of our easiest products to use, but also our most versatile.

Metal shine doesn’t last forever; in fact, it can fade because of a number of factors. Oxidization, UV rays from the sun, water, dust and general pollution are all the sworn enemies of our metal, and they’re all unavoidable if you’re actually going to use your car. Rain, general dust and dirt from the road, puddles, excessive sunshine (or any kind of sunshine really) are all factors that contribute to metal fading over time, so even if your car was just sitting outside your house, it would be being attacked by all sorts of elements.

How to Use Metal Polish

All you need is the Metal Polish bottle itself – just $16.99 for a 16oz bottle, a Blue Applicator Pad and a Microfiber Towel. Like all our exterior products, make sure you’re working on a clean, dry surface, then spray your applicator pad with a few dots of the metal polish and apply to the metal. From here, you can start rubbing and buffing - don’t be afraid to put a bit of effort in! You’ll see the shine starting to appear and after 30 seconds or so, you can switch to your microfiber towel and repeat the buffing process. Then, move on to the next section. It’s that simple!

And just remember two things:

  1. You can repeat this process as many times as you like until you get the level of shine you want!
  2. You can use this on any metal, anywhere. So don’t be afraid to bring this one into the home!
