Welcome back to the Proje’ blog! With Independence Day right around the corner, we wanted

to take the opportunity to tell you what July 4 means to us, and to let you know about our one-

off promo offer to celebrate this wonderful day in our American history.

Proud to be American

Proje’ is a proud American manufacturing company. We take pride in keeping our processes, our product development, and every other aspect of our company in the United States. We create jobs, we give back to the economy – and we give back to our loyal customers. On July 4, 1776, the most momentous moment in our history occurred – the Declaration of Independence. Since then, America has embodied its moniker of “The Land of the Free” – and we recognize that it is precisely that freedom that has allowed us to found, develop, and grow Proje’, with freedom to work, create, experiment, employ, and blossom into the company we are today.

Summer is Here

We also associate July 4 with summer, and at Proje’ and in the wider world of auto detailing, that means protection. The sun is a wonderful thing that brings us great joy, but the harmful UV rays are strong in summer, and that means protection for ourselves in the form of sunscreen – but that’s not all. You need to protect your car too, and there’s no better way than with a super-strong ceramic coating. Think of it as sunscreen for your car, providing a barrier between UV and your paintwork, PPF, and vinyls.

The Beauty of SiO2

With our professional-grade Ceramic Spray Coating, you can get your car back out of the shade in no time (but remember to work out of direct sunlight!) With the active ingredient Silicon Dioxide –or SiO2 – our Ceramic Spray Coating forms an extremely effective layer of protection from the elements, making it the best SiO2 spray out there. UVA and UVB rays won’t penetrate it, pollen can’t touch it, and dirt and dust just fall away like water.

How to Use SiO2

You don’t need to be scared of ceramics – they’re easy to use. Just take it slow and follow these six steps!

Step 1: Thoroughly wash and dry the surface before use; for even better results, clay the surface first to remove any contaminants

Step 2: Use a DA polisher to remove swirls, scratches and other imperfections where necessary. Ceramic Spray Coating will do the rest.

Step 3: Prep the surface with Prep Spray to remove any lingering residue

Step 4: Spray Ceramic Spray Coating directly on to a clean microfiber towel or one of our blue applicator pads. Apply evenly and ensure complete coverage of the area you are treating.

Step 5: While you can remove the Ceramic Spray Coating after as little as 25 seconds, we recommend that you leave it for 1 to 2 minutes. You can also repeat the process for added layers.

Step 6: Keep the surface dry and away from the elements where possible, for up to 2-3 hours after application. Don’t worry – you’re not in any danger; you’re just giving the coating every chance to do the best possible job.

For best results, reapply a coat once a month as a top-up. It’s that simple!
