Any ceramic work should start off with preparation – and this doesn’t just mean washing your paintwork first (although this is definitely recommended). Having a completely stripped surface before applying a new ceramic coating is the best way to ensure long-lasting results, and this means using a specialist prep spray. By using Prep Spray, you can then buff out any imperfections before adding a ceramic coat, meaning you’re left with perfection and a layer of protection that lasts up to a year.
Let’s take a look at how to use our Prep Spray.
Prep Spray can be applied directly to the surface of your vehicle. Simply spray, wait 30 seconds to a minute, then wipe away with a clean microfiber towel. Don’t worry about applying too much pressure; the natural lubricant within Prep Spray ensures that there is no harmful friction.
Then, just repeat the process until the entire area has been sprayed! It’s that easy!
Time to take advantage of that beautifully contaminant-free paintwork and get that ceramic coat on!
Spray Ceramic Spray Coating directly on to a clean microfiber towel or one of our blue applicator pads. Apply evenly and ensure complete coverage of the area you are treating.
While you can remove the Ceramic Spray Coating after as little as 25 seconds, we recommend that you leave it for 1 to 2 minutes. You can also repeat the process for added layers.
Keep the surface dry and away from the elements where possible, for up to 2-3 hours after application. Don’t worry – you’re not in any danger; you’re just giving the coating every chance to do the best possible job
For best results, reapply a coat once a month as a top-up. It’s that simple!
And the Bonus… SiO2 Quick Coat
Whether you’re topping up your ceramic coat or you’re looking to get a coat done quickly and effectively, this is the product for you. It cleans, levels, adds depth, shines and protects all in one. And like our other products, it’s super easy to use! Here’s how:
All you need to do is spray directly on to the surface you are working on, give the cleaning agents a moment to encapsulate the dirt, and then with a clean microfiber towel, wipe away. This is your cleaning phase.
Next what you will be left with is the SiO2 coat left on the surface. Give the SiO2 a moment to level imperfections. After a few seconds, take your second clean microfiber towel and buff away the high spots. You will then be left with leveled imperfections, added depth, and ultra-shine created from SiO2 nano-glass particles, and protection from the elements!
Work over a small area of the vehicle at a time. Repeat the process until the desired surface has been completely coated. Now, take a break and bask in the glory of that shine!
