Welcome back to the Proje’ blog! We know a lot of people who have got real used to detailing over the years and we often get the question, “So… what’s next?” And for skilled, confident home detailers, the answer lies in stepping up a level with the products… that’s right: it’s time to “go pro!”
The Pro Show
Now, if you take a look at our pro product range, you’ll immediately see that the amounts you get in each container are much larger. This generally means that they suit enthusiasts, businesses or people with multiple cars. But of course, all these products last forever, so really it’s the same as doing your shopping at Costco – you get more for less.
Generally speaking, Pro products aren’t much different from home detailing products – they’re just on a larger scale. It’s the same with Proje’; we make the best wheel cleaner around, so we don’t change it up for the pros; for example they get wheel cleaner – the same as our Redline Wheel Cleaner.
Use with Caution
But where the upgrades happen, it’s often that the active ingredients are stronger and so should be used with caution. Take the acidic wheel cleaner: it’s a strong, serious pro product that targets the toughest build-ups of debris that can scratch and discolor wheels, making them really difficult to clean. The strong acid pH contributes to the dissolving, softening and ultimately releasing of chemical, mineral, petroleum and metallic build-ups typical of high-end brakes especially. But because it’s sseriously strong, it needs to be diluted 5:1 and used with care – we recommend doing a small test sample first. You should find it’s fine, but these are pro products, so you need to be sure.
Or the inspection spray, which prepares your paintwork for a ceramic coating through a solvent-based cleaner, which will guarantee the removal of all contaminants. Inspection Spray is particularly tough on grease and heavy contamination from oil and brake dust, so is widely-used particularly to ensure that the bottom of vehicles’ paintwork is free from contamination. Our spray is safe to use on all surfaces, and is an extremely quick part of the detailing process.
Even better all-in-ones
On the other side of things, using Pro products also opens up a range of all-in-ones that are seriously flexible and versatile. Our Pro All-in-One cleaner is a great example of this. It really cleans everything. It’s a true multi-purpose cleaner, working on paintwork, wheels, glass, plastics and even upholstery and carpets! it’s heavy-duty enough to be used on the dirtiest carpets and on oxidized area on paintwork, without damaging either. it can be used for entire interior and exterior coverage, and is designed to focus on grease, grime, dirt, dust and tar, neutralizing any bacterial agents on contact and lifting contaminants off surfaces, allowing you to just rinse or wipe away, revealing excellent results.
Our cleaner is surfactant-based; it works by increasing surface tension between liquids and solids and acts as a wetting agent, meaning that it releases contaminants from contact with a car’s surfaces without the use of force or abrasion. its gentle foaming stimulates a dirt-removing chemical reaction that makes the removal of dirt extremely easy and is an ideal product for a full or quick cleaning service.
