Welcome back to the Proje’ blog! Now, we aren’t often the type of guys to suggest doing half a job… but sometimes, there just isn’t time. And while it’d be ideal if we always had an hour spare to get exactly what we want done, sometimes it’s a case of touching up and getting on with life. And that’s fine – we’re realists. We also want to make sure that you have the products available to make this a possibility. So, we created Surge Quick Detail Spray

Work Smart, Not Hard

That’s not to say that you can’t cover your whole vehicle with Surge Quick Detail Spray and get fantastic results; you certainly can! But we designed this to be a hybrid product – something that can enhance the shine and rejuvenate the existing surface of your bodywork, or a product that can be used as a final wipe down, an in-between maintenance spray, or a quick touch-up product for isolated sections of dirty paintwork.

How Does Surge Quick Detail Spray Work?

Surge Quick Detail Spray is ideal for both these scenarios, Surge Quick Detail Spray uses a polymer that works on any kind of paintwork or existing wax surface. These ingredients work to produce an immediate shine with just a spray and a wipe. When you apply Surge, a thin protective film is created over your paintwork instead of a full wax coating. This means you can spray and wipe and any surface dirt, debris or smudges straight off. Of curse, that layer also means that you’re adding protection, too – so for touch-up jobs, you’re getting a two-in-one. Or, if you want to use this as an extra stage after you’ve applied your ceramic layer to your vehicle, it’ll ensure that any remaining dust, debris, or fingerprints disappear while providing even greater strength to your protective coating without removing any of that candy apple shine!

How to Use Surge Quick Detail Coating

As with all our products, Surge couldn’t be any easier to use. You can spray it directly on to your paintwork if you like. And if you live in Colorado in the summer, good news: You can use it in hot places, even under direct sunlight! This is possibly our most versatile detailing spray product ever!

Start with three squirts on to a microfiber towel (or directly onto the paintwork). Then, fold your towel and wipe the spray across the surface area. You don’t need to use any force as the coat is superficial, meaning it works on the exterior of your paintwork, wax, or ceramic coating.

Once you’ve wiped the coating across the paintwork, flip the towel over and use the dry side to buff the surface until it’s as shiny as you want. And if you’re working on a small section and the rest of the car is super, super shiny, just put a bit more effort into the buffing – as long as your microfiber towel is clean and free from any debris, you can’t do any damage! You can even reapply the spray and go over again if you want; as many times as you need to. Either way, this is a job that you can do in a matter of seconds, ridding you of any pesky dirty patches and applying a protective layer that ensures your paintwork is safe, whether you’re working on one part of a single panel, or across the entire car.
