Remember, there is no “I” in the word “team”. Supporting roles are just as important as the stars – and that means it’s not all about our Ceramics Range – to make everything work as well as it can, you need to use it right, and with the right accessories.
And there are no accessories more vital than a good towel range. At Proje’, we have a few different towels to offer – here’s a quick rundown of what we have.
Microfiber Towels
In our microfiber range, we have our Bluepro and Redpro edgeless towels, and our Whitepro Towel. Rated at a premium 480 GSM, these are the softest towels that Proje' offers. Ideal for wax and sealant residue removal, waterless washing and even traditional drying methods. The high GSM rating ensures that you will never introduce swirls or scratches to the paintwork when used correctly.
Of course, sometimes you just want to cover large surfaces more quickly without losing any of the results; enter the Big Giant Drying 25 x 36 Towel. This is the ultimate drying towel. A huge 25" by 36", it can hold up to 7 times its weight in water. Rated at a premium 480 GSM, making it the softest towel that Proje' offers, the high GSM rating ensures that you will never introduce swirls or scratches to the paintwork when used correctly. Fold it into many sides or use it wide open - the choice is yours. Either way it's the perfect size for any car.
The brilliant thing about a towel this size is that it can cover so much space in one go, meaning that you’re wrapping up part of your car in a big hug! You can also fold it multiple times to do standard bodywork drying duties, meaning that it will keep going for a really long time before getting saturated. As with all our microfiber towels, you can use it on any part of your vehicle without the risk of scratches or swirls, but it’s best used after our Vital Car Wash Soap, because you can dry your entire vehicle in one go, with just one towel!
Wheel towel
Everything down at wheel level needs to be tougher and more durable because of the punishment they receive. So, we’ve got The Black Mamba 16x16 Wheel and Trim Towel. Now, this is the perfect towel to ensure gentle, non-scratching cleaning power while achieving incredible results. Rated at a high 380 GSM, making it the perfect towel for cleaning nitty-gritty rims, wheel wells and dressing trim. Its dark coloring allows for multiple use without ever worrying about staining or unsightly marks that make your rim towels look old and dingy. It’s essential to have in your auto detailing supplies line up.
Window Towel
If you use a regular microfiber towel on your glass, you’re running the risk of ending up with a few streaks. This is because they haven’t been designed for glass – but our Diamond Window Towel has. Our specially designed weave towel makes the process of cleaning glass and mirrors smooth, quick and easy. Use the Diamond Window Towel to ensure that there are no streaks or swirls when you wipe your glass, so you don’t have to spend hours going over and over your work. Combine the towel with our Genesis Glass Cleaner, and wipe in a back and forth direction across the glass, ensuring that you cover the surface all the way to the corners. Make sure that the glass is completely dry before moving on the next section – refold the Diamond Window Towel and repeat if necessary. You’ll get a consistent shine – and no marks!
2-sided – 2 jobs!
Our White Intensive 2-Sided Interior Towel, which is specifically designed for Proje's Intensive. One side of the towel is constructed with terry weave material and the other side a soft microfiber, meaning that you can change up the amount of friction depending on the softness of your interior surface. It’s the perfect combination for light duty cleaning, wiping and protection application.
A Terry Weave towel is made using a strand weave that is designed to be absorbent. You’ll notice this towel has a good weight to it – it’ll have an even more pleasing weight when it’s soaked up all the excess liquids on the inside of your vehicle, leaving your interior completely dry. It’s more important to have the interior completely dry than the exterior, as plastics and leathers are more prone to water damage, and you don’t want any mold developing either. Our intensive towel is the most absorbent we’ve ever used, so you can use our products with confidence. Go nuts!
